Project Description & Highlights:

On 8 January 2022, Huanhai Logistics received an urgentrequest from Sichuan Air Separation Plant Group – the major nationalenterprise, the key backbone enterprise in China's machinery industry, and oneof the major domestic R&D and manufacturing base for deep cryogenicequipment – to deliver essential components of a complete high‑nitrogen equipment (three pieces intotal; single piece dimensions: 24.6m × 8.3m × 4.5m) to Dangote Group inAfrica. In response, Huanhai immediately formed a temporary project team,personally led by General Manager Du Sufang. The team meticulously researchedand formulated detailed plans covering barge berthing, oversized cargotransport trailers, loading techniques and lashing plans, intra‑port haulage, vessel loading, and rentingfloating cranes etc.

Through the unremitting efforts of Huanhai, with full supportfrom relevant departments of Tianjin Port Group and under the whole-processmonitoring of Tianjin Customs,the "domestic‑to‑foreign trade" transshipment of these domesticallymanufactured oversized equipment was successfully completed in TianjinDongjiang Free Trade Port Zone (DFTP) by the end of January. This markedthe first implementation of the " Barge-Trailer-Ship" operation modeat Tianjin Port, playing a positive role in supporting China‑Africa "Belt and Road Initiative"cooperation and the domestic and international “dual circulation” strategy.
